About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications based on project requirements and design concepts
  • Utilize CAD software to create construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to align technical designs with project goals
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve design conflicts and support project execution
  • Ensure technical designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of technical drawings
  • Prepare and maintain construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and material schedules
  • Assist in preparing bid packages and construction contracts
  • Provide technical support throughout construction, respond to RFIs, and help resolve on-site issues
  • Assist with site visits and surveys to gather information for design development and coordination

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have advanced Revit experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience
  • 2–3 years of experience in technical design in the construction services industry
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, materials, and methods
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance
