About the role

Assigned to one of three focus areas: Full-Stack Development, Machine Learning/AI, or DevOps Engineering based on skills and interests
Full-Stack: develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and Angular; participate in code reviews and testing
ML/AI: build and train machine learning models; analyze data and extract insights to improve product features
DevOps: assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; support cloud infrastructure and deployment processes; monitor application performance and reliability
Contribute to real public-facing applications and develop features used directly by customers
Collaborate with team members and work alongside experienced professionals; participate in continuous learning and professional development
Internship duration 12 weeks with initial one-week onsite visit and 2-3 days onsite at program end

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field with an anticipated graduation within 1-2 years
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and documentation skills
Experience with one or more of: Node.js, Angular, Python, ML frameworks, CI/CD tools, cloud platforms
Preferred: Experience in an Agile Software Development environment
Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
Preferred: Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Self-starter with ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated experience building or maintaining a full-stack application
Must be able to travel for onsite visits to Bridgeport, WV (potential travel to Morgantown, WV)
