About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary leader and public face of the NC ROOTS Hub across any regions awarded to Trillium.
  • Oversee implementation of required initiatives, including perinatal health (including CHW/Doula coordination models), chronic disease prevention and management, and Food is Medicine programs.
  • Design and operationalize a sub-awardee model for hospitals, providers, and CBOs.
  • Oversee multi-million-dollar regional budgets and funding allocations.
  • Build trust across diverse stakeholders, including historically underserved communities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing regional team, including operations, Community engagement, program implementation, and data and analytics.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, public health, Medicaid, or large-scale community initiatives, including experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and/or overseeing large budgets and grant-funded programs. Must include minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience; OR Master’s degree and three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, public health, Medicaid, or large-scale community initiatives, including experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and/or overseeing large budgets and grant-funded programs. Must include minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside within North Carolina.
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
