About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Trillium Health Resources Medical Economics MLR and IBNR reporting and ensure compliance with related regulations, standards, and policies.
- Work with the Director of Medical Economics to model the financial impacts of policy changes and clinical decisions.
- Develop and promote best practices and drive innovation through various types of data.
- Oversee the development of Medical Economics reporting and participate in various organization-wide process improvement initiatives.
- Provide direct supervision to analytics staff, including conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline and termination procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree in a business-related field and three (3) years of experience with budgets, extensive claims filing and data reporting, rate management, network support, or contract administration; OR Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and one (1) year of experience with budgets, extensive claims filing and data reporting, rate management, network support, or contract administration; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must reside within North Carolina.
- Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
- Preferred: Master’s degree
- Seven (7) years’ experience in the healthcare industry and five (5) years’ experience with healthcare analytics, statistics, or data management and one (1) year of supervisory experience
- Supervisory experience of two (2) or more employees
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
