About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement a regional communications and engagement strategy aligned with NC ROOTS goals and timelines.
Design and execute community-facing campaigns to increase awareness, trust, and participation in NC ROOTS initiatives.
Lead internal communications to ensure alignment across Hub leadership, regional teams, and sub-awardees.
Establish and maintain a consistent NC ROOTS Hub brand identity across all materials and platforms.
Manage relationships with local, regional, and statewide media.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field and three (3) years of experience leading strategic communications or experience leading multi-stakeholder communication strategies in healthcare, public health, or community-based initiatives; OR Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field and one (1) year of experience leading strategic communications or experience leading multi-stakeholder communication strategies in healthcare, public health, or community-based initiatives; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must reside within North Carolina.
