About the role
- Responsible for initiating, engaging and maintaining contact with the injured/absent employees on a regular basis.
- Provide support to employee’s leader and HR regarding claims management, disability, accommodation and the Attendance Awareness and Support Program.
- Interpret and educate leaders on regulatory and compliance requirements for case management practices.
- Develop sustainable return to work plans and conduct effective return to work meetings.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in disability and WSIB claims management.
- Post-secondary degree in the health sector.
- Must meet the eligibility requirements to become certified with the Canadian Society of Professionals in Disability Management as a Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) and/or Certified Return to Work Coordinator (CRTWC) within 1 year or be a CDMP or CRTWC in good standing.
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
