About the role

  • Clean, validate, and structure healthcare datasets from electronic health records (EHR), claims, and operational systems.
  • Perform descriptive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies under the guidance of senior analysts.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Write and execute basic SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
  • Contribute to documentation of data sources, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data needs and support project goals.
  • Adhere strictly to data security, privacy, and compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field earned within the last 24 months.
  • Foundational understanding of data analysis concepts and a strong interest in the healthcare domain.
  • Academic, internship, or project experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
