Senior Director, Total Rewards

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Total Rewards strategy by aligning compensation, benefits, and recognition programs with business goals and workforce needs
- Advise executive leadership on reward philosophy, market trends, and organizational impact
- Oversee compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and executive compensation, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity
- Drive benefits strategy, balancing cost, compliance, and participant experience across health, retirement, and wellness programs
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost management of Total Rewards programs
- Own annual processes such as merit cycles, bonus planning, and open enrollment
- Ensure compliance with all compensation and benefits regulations, including pay equity and wage laws
- Leverage data and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and guide decision-making
- Lead and develop the Total Rewards team, building scalable processes to support growth
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, HRIS, Payroll, and business leaders to optimize systems and execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or Benefits leadership
- Proven experience supporting executive compensation and working with senior leadership
- Strong intuition for business with the ability to translate strategy into actionable programs
- Deep expertise in compensation design, market analysis, and pay structures
- Experience managing benefits strategy and vendor relationships
- Analytical approach with the ability to bring to bear data for decision-making
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certifications (CCP, CBP) preferred
