About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor the maturity of receivables and track delinquency
- Post incoming payments in the system
- Track advance payments, partial payments and customer prepayments
- Pursue collections and manage payment negotiations
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, orders and payments
- Monitor credit limits and order blocks
- Prepare management reports for accounts receivable and aging reports
- Monitor delinquency indicators
- Support the monthly accounting close by providing area reconciliations and information
- Assist customers with inquiries about invoices and payments
- Work closely with Commercial, Billing, Tax and Accounting teams to resolve outstanding issues
- Maintain controls and KPIs for the customer portfolio
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of financial processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields
- Experience in Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliation routines
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Organized, analytical and detail-oriented profile
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Sense of prioritization
- Commitment to deadlines
