About the role

  • Lead and mentor your team: manage performance and career development for a distributed team in Czechia and Austria, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous growth.
  • Run our security initiatives: Drive the execution of our risk-based security program, making data-informed decisions to prioritize the most impactful security controls.
  • Influence technical direction: shape our strategy and roadmap by identifying key risks and aligning security initiatives with business goals.
  • Organize the work: prioritize the team's workload, navigating the balance between long-term strategic initiatives, urgent operational tasks, and incident response.
  • Stay calm under pressure: Demonstrate resilience and clear technical judgement during security incidents, ensuring effective resolution under time constraints.
  • Partner with engineering: work across teams to make security a natural part of how we build software.
  • Bring structure: rely on project management skills to break down complex technical work into manageable tasks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, product security, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years people management experience in a fast-paced, high-growth enterprise software environment.
  • Demonstrable leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
