About the role
- Mentor engineering teams in building scalable and performant applications
- Apply automation and create reusable features that translate operational insights into development practices
- Provide continuous feedback to Product, Engineering, Security and Cloud Operations teams
- Create proof of concept studies to evaluate new tools and services
- Design, implement, test, deploy and support infrastructure solutions
- Ensure security and compliance of the cloud environment
- Provide technical leadership to the operations team and act as a liaison between stakeholders
- Maintain SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Five or more years in a Cloud Engineer or DevOps role preferred
- Five or more years of experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Bash or Python
- Ideally five or more years of full time experience building and operating solutions on Azure
- Experience operating Kubernetes applications in production
- Experience managing a multi tenant, multi subscription Azure environment
- Experience implementing CI CD pipelines
- Understanding of Cloud Native best practices
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
- Experience with service catalogs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Azure certifications are a plus
