About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the receivables performance standard across TreviPay’s full client portfolio.
- Set collections segmentation, treatment strategy, dunning cadences, and escalation playbooks across client verticals.
- Own collections and write-off treatment standards and operational exposure management.
- Partner with Credit & Risk to apply portfolio behavior scoring and risk analytics to collections prioritization and escalation.
- Set DSO, past-due percentage, and aging-bucket targets; own portfolio forecasting and performance management.
- Define collections tooling, automation, and process standards.
- Establish reporting standards and maintain a comparable view of portfolio health for leadership.
- Drive adoption of receivables standards through influence rather than direct authority over collectors.
- Hold and improve DSO, past-due percentage, and write-off performance.
- Lead the consolidated Cash Management and Arbitration/Disputes functions.
- Lead and develop Cash Management and Arbitration/Disputes leaders.
- Provide leadership visibility into receivables performance, risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Partner with Center of Excellence discipline leads and coordinate with Finance, Product, Technology, and CX leadership.
- Lead and contribute to client Quarterly Business Reviews with portfolio-health, exposure, and collections-performance insights.
- Own recruitment, retention, succession planning, and capability development for receivables disciplines.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience setting collections/receivables strategy across a multi-client or portfolio book of business.
- Deep command of AR portfolio management, exposure control, DSO, past-due, and write-offs.
- Ability to drive standards and results through influence without direct authority over executing teams.
- Strong analytical and reporting capability.
- B2B payments or transactions industry background preferred.
- Exposure to a Center of Excellence or similar shared-service governance model preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Collections and treatment strategy design experience.
- Collections risk and exposure management experience.
- Portfolio health analytics and forecasting capability.
- Influence without authority and cross-functional standard-setting.
- People development and leadership growth experience.
