Business Developer – Eastern Germany
TrescalBusiness Developer boosting Trescal's market share by acquiring new customers in Eastern Germany. Engaging in various business development activities and maintaining customer relations while ensuring satisfaction.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Your goal is to increase Trescal's market share by acquiring new customers and expanding business opportunities in line with our strategic objectives
- Identification & Acquisition: You will conduct active market research, identify promising business opportunities, and establish contacts at trade fairs and industry events
- Pipeline Management: You maintain a structured pipeline of prospective customers and are responsible for the regular management of leads and existing customers in your territory
- Qualification & Coordination: You capture customer requirements and project feasibility and coordinate closely with our internal teams for technical input
- Negotiation: You prepare commercial proposals, present them confidently, and handle challenging negotiation situations or complaints with diplomatic skill
- Onboarding & Handover: You ensure customer satisfaction during the onboarding phase and, after a defined period, coordinate the structured handover of customers to Account Management or Inside Sales.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the industrial sector
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident and professional demeanor
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Eastern Germany region
