About the role

  • Your goal is to increase Trescal's market share by acquiring new customers and expanding business opportunities in line with our strategic objectives
  • Identification & Acquisition: You will conduct active market research, identify promising business opportunities, and establish contacts at trade fairs and industry events
  • Pipeline Management: You maintain a structured pipeline of prospective customers and are responsible for the regular management of leads and existing customers in your territory
  • Qualification & Coordination: You capture customer requirements and project feasibility and coordinate closely with our internal teams for technical input
  • Negotiation: You prepare commercial proposals, present them confidently, and handle challenging negotiation situations or complaints with diplomatic skill
  • Onboarding & Handover: You ensure customer satisfaction during the onboarding phase and, after a defined period, coordinate the structured handover of customers to Account Management or Inside Sales.

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the industrial sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident and professional demeanor
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Eastern Germany region
