About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities in the process industry and industrial environment.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations with C-level management, plant managers and operational stakeholders.
  • Present the TrendMiner platform and its value through live demos, proposals and compelling business cases.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation through negotiations to successful contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success and Product teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
  • Maintain and update the pipeline in the CRM system and produce reliable sales forecasts.
  • Represent TrendMiner at industry events, trade shows and webinars.
  • Continuously collect market and customer feedback to inform the evolution of the go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, industrial technologies or data analytics solutions.
  • Solid understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles and experience in consultative selling.
  • Interest in or affinity for our focus industries: process industry, food & beverage and chemical industry.
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Independent, results-oriented working style and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic scale-up environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required; German and/or French are a plus.
