About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities in the process industry and industrial environment.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations with C-level management, plant managers and operational stakeholders.
- Present the TrendMiner platform and its value through live demos, proposals and compelling business cases.
- Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation through negotiations to successful contract closure.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success and Product teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
- Maintain and update the pipeline in the CRM system and produce reliable sales forecasts.
- Represent TrendMiner at industry events, trade shows and webinars.
- Continuously collect market and customer feedback to inform the evolution of the go-to-market strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, industrial technologies or data analytics solutions.
- Solid understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles and experience in consultative selling.
- Interest in or affinity for our focus industries: process industry, food & beverage and chemical industry.
- Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Independent, results-oriented working style and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic scale-up environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required; German and/or French are a plus.
