Account Executive
TrendMinerAccount Executive driving business development for TrendMiner's analytics platform optimized for process manufacturing. Engaging executives and stakeholders in consultative sales conversations and presentations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the process manufacturing and industrial sectors.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations with C-level executives, plant managers, and operational stakeholders.
- Present TrendMiner’s platform and value proposition through live demos, proposals, and compelling business cases.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and deal closure.
- Collaborate with the marketing, customer success, and product teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM and deliver reliable sales forecasts.
- Represent TrendMiner at industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
- Continuously gather feedback from the market to inform go-to-market strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- +3 years of Experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, industrial technology, or data analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and experience with consultative selling.
- Affinity with our focus industries: Manufacturing Process industries, Food & Beverages, Chemicals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic scale-up environment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as German and/or French are a plus.
- Willingness and ability to be present in Hasselt on a weekly basis.
