Director, Threat Research Insights

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the long-term editorial strategy and content roadmap
- Own the publishing strategy for amplifying technical threat research across the company’s channels
- Establish and enforce the TrendAI voice and tone, including an editorial style guide
- Collaborate with full-time threat researchers to identify, prioritize, and surface research
- Lead, grow, and develop a multi-disciplinary team spanning publication, social, events, and internal awareness functions
- Manage the research blog and research social media presence
- Collaborate with TrendAI evangelists to shape how TrendAI research shows up at industry events
- Run the internal awareness function bridging threat research with the rest of the company
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, research leadership, and communications partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep knowledge of the information security industry
- A current, in-depth command of the information security landscape
- 10+ years of relevant experience across security, communications, marketing, or related fields
- Proven people-leadership experience — 5+ years managing teams, including managing other managers or team leads
- Strong communications background — able to turn complex, technical research into clear, compelling content across formats and channels
- Business acumen — able to set strategy, prioritize, and connect the team’s work to broader business goals
