About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own design for one of Tremendous’s product areas end-to-end
Craft rational, elegant, and intuitive interfaces
Own the product copy in designs
Contribute to the team’s vision, planning, and roadmap
Build and improve the design system
Document context, constraints, and options in Notion docs and Figma files
Use AI throughout research, prototyping, and iteration
Maintain and raise the design quality bar
Design for diverse recipients with accessibility and internationalization in mind
Conduct user research and usability tests
Scope, drive, and measure design work against user and business goals
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of product design experience
Experience at a startup or fast-moving product company
Portfolio demonstrating functional, simple, and delightful user interfaces
Proven experience building and improving design systems
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
Experience using AI tools in the design workflow, including v0, Claude, Cursor, or similar, for prototyping
Ability to handle ambiguity and independently conduct research and gather information
Experience designing with accessibility and internationalization in mind
Required resume, LinkedIn profile, and visa-sponsorship response in the application
Work authorization or visa sponsorship status for work in the United States must be addressed
