About the role

  • Manage and improve AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Support CI/CD pipeline maturity
  • Contribute to the reliability, security, and observability of production systems
  • Participate in release engineering, disaster recovery planning, and information security operations (HIPAA/SOC2)
  • Collaborate with development, data engineering, and integration teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
  • Demonstrated programming or scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) without requiring the use of AI to comprehend or write the basics
  • Working understanding of IP networking, DNS, VPN, and firewall management
  • Familiarity with cloud provider offerings, specifically AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
  • Good understanding of relational database administration (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or similar)
  • Experience with Linux system administration and command-line tooling
  • Basic understanding of containerization concepts (Docker, container images, registries)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Bitbucket)
