About the role
- Manage and improve AWS cloud infrastructure
- Support CI/CD pipeline maturity
- Contribute to the reliability, security, and observability of production systems
- Participate in release engineering, disaster recovery planning, and information security operations (HIPAA/SOC2)
- Collaborate with development, data engineering, and integration teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
- Demonstrated programming or scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) without requiring the use of AI to comprehend or write the basics
- Working understanding of IP networking, DNS, VPN, and firewall management
- Familiarity with cloud provider offerings, specifically AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
- Good understanding of relational database administration (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or similar)
- Experience with Linux system administration and command-line tooling
- Basic understanding of containerization concepts (Docker, container images, registries)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Bitbucket)
