Payment Solution Business Developer – POS
TreatwellPayment Solution Business Developer responsible for POS sales, securing new market opportunities, and improving customer engagement in the UK. Engaging in consultative sales and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the end-to-end sales cycle for POS solutions, focusing on both new acquisitions and upselling/cross-selling within the current customer portfolio.
- Act as a subject matter expert, helping partners identify and implement the payment solutions best suited to their specific business needs.
- Play a key role in refining our POS sales strategy, providing "on-the-ground" feedback to leadership to optimize our commercial hook.
- Bring deep industry expertise and best practices to the wider sales team, acting as a mentor for complex payment-related queries.
- Work closely with Marketing, Account Management, and Operations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and high activation rates.
- Consistently monitor your sales pipeline and activation metrics, ensuring all "signed" deals move through to active, revenue-generating partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in POS or Payment Solution sales is essential.
- You don't just wait for leads; you have the resilience to hunt for opportunities and the commercial "sense" to close them.
- You are able to translate complex payment technology into simple, value-driven benefits for small-to-medium business owners.
- Based in London or commutable, you are comfortable navigating a fast-paced field sales environment and building lasting relationships.
