About the role
- Solve problems through design across Treatwell’s user journeys and platforms
- Contribute to the entire design process from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation
- Work collaboratively with other product designers, product managers, and engineers in an internationally distributed team
- Report directly to the Design Director
- Collaborate to plan, design, build and evolve products
- Own the strategy for your product area and articulate a coherent UX vision
- Advocate for the user and craft UX solutions that meet critical business objectives
- Work on a range of projects on different platforms
- Lead facilitation of idea generation with stakeholders
- Design with scalability in mind and actively contribute to the design system
- Create simple, intuitive experiences in a space with complex rules and workflows
- Create clear and compelling materials explaining design rationale using customer, business or competitive insights
- Actively seek diverse feedback and anticipate and address it proactively
- Treatwell is a salon management software and bookings platform operating across Europe with 50,000 salon partners and over 8 million bookings monthly
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and passionate about the craft
- 5+ years as a Product or UX Designer (or equivalent experience) with robust case studies that showcase deep interaction and problem-solving skills
- Experience creating and using design systems
- Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Excellent understanding of design principles
- An ego-free attitude that welcomes candid feedback
- A willingness to fail and learn and to go beyond good enough
