About the role
- Building new features and improving existing ones, focused on Generative AI capabilities
- Working with other engineers, PMs, and designers to design scalable solutions
- Writing clean, efficient Ruby code (mostly Rails) with a focus on performance
- Staying on top of AI/ML trends (LLMs, prompt tuning, etc.) and sharing with the team
- Helping operate and maintain the systems we own (including on-call rotations)
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Ruby / Ruby on Rails skills
- Familiarity with LLMs (prompt engineering, model deployment, fine-tuning)
- Solid SQL and experience with relational DBs
- Comfortable with AWS or similar cloud setups
- Problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking
- Business-level English
- Good communicator and team collaborator
- Openness to feedback and continuous learning
- Python skills (bonus)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD (bonus)
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools (bonus)
- Frontend development experience with React and TypeScript (bonus)
