About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • - Manage active residential and commercial solar projects from kickoff through completion.
  • - Track project milestones and proactively remove obstacles.
  • - Ensure projects remain on schedule and communicate delays before they become problems.

  • - Track permit approvals and required documentation.
  • - Communicate with AHJs and utilities as necessary.
  • - Ensure projects remain compliant with local requirements.
  • - Process warranty claims with inverter, battery, module, and equipment manufacturers.
  • - Coordinate Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • - Track replacement equipment from claim submission through delivery.
  • - Advocate for timely resolutions with manufacturers.
  • - Coordinate subcontractors and specialty contractors.
  • - Verify work scopes and scheduling.
  • - Ensure contractors meet project expectations and deadlines.
  • - Maintain accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • - Partner with Scheduling to coordinate field resources.
  • - Work closely with Sales and Estimating to clarify project scope.
  • - Support Residential and Commercial Managers by providing project updates and identifying risks early.
  • - Keep stakeholders informed with timely and accurate communication.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • - Minimum 3 years of project management experience within the solar industry.
  • - Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • - Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • - Experience with procurement and purchasing.
  • - Experience coordinating permitting processes.
  • - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • **Preferred**
  • - Experience handling manufacturer warranty claims and RMA processes.
  • - Experience working with SolarEdge, Enphase, Tesla, SMA, Fronius, Generac, FranklinWH, or other major solar manufacturers.
  • - Understanding of residential and commercial solar systems.
  • - Experience coordinating inspections and utility requirements.
  • - Experience using CRM or field service management software (Zoho, RazorSync, etc.).
