About the role

  • Project Leader: Lead and implement client infrastructure projects, including Layer 2 and 3 networking and Microsoft cloud and server platforms.
  • Quality & Security Advocate: Deliver solutions that are well‑designed, secure, fully documented, and aligned with best practices.
  • Be the Client's Champion: Make their experience exceptional and ensure their technology aligns with our best practices.
  • Tech Guru: Develop deep technical knowledge of client systems, maintain documentation, and support business applications.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with our vCIO, Service Desk, and other teams to deliver seamless service.
  • Communicator Extraordinaire: Build strong client relationships and communicate plans and progress.
  • After-Hours Hero: Be part of our after-hours support team rotation, ready to assist when needed.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or MSP environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or heavily contributing to IT projects and implementations.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to documentation and knowledge management.
  • Technical Skill Set
  • Microsoft 365 (Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Networking, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
  • Security best practices for SMB and mid‑market environments
