Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, analyze, and translate evolving business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Evaluate the impact of organizational and system changes.
  • Document requirements and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Document and update end-to-end accounting workflows.
  • Drive process improvements and support system implementations and integrations.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
  • Work independently while promoting cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with varying priorities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting financial projects or in a similar role, preferably as part of a finance / business transformation project.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience within the insurance industry, with strong knowledge of best practices and standards.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and/or working with ERP and EPM systems is required.
  • Proven experience supporting IT project execution, including requirements gathering, testing, and implementation.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
  • Experience leading or supporting organizational change management initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Visio for process mapping preferred.
  • Professional certification such as IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
