Procurement

• Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, supplies, equipment, and services necessary to support company operations
• Work closely with suppliers, production, warehouse, accounting, and other internal departments to ensure materials are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and remain within budget
• Review and process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders
• Maintain adequate inventory levels while minimizing excess inventory
• Source new suppliers and evaluate existing supplier performance
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contracts with vendors
• Monitor open orders and follow up on late deliveries or shipment issues
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to ensure material availability
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, damaged shipments, and supplier claims
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing files, and supplier documentation
• Analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and pricing fluctuations
• Work with freight carriers and logistics providers to coordinate deliveries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and purchasing procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cost savings and supply chain efficiency
• Follow Safety Protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
