About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete intermediate end-to-end engineering tasks for specific system assignments
  • Develop, analyze, configure, test, debug, troubleshoot, document, monitor system health and alerts, and implement solutions based on user or system design specifications
  • Participate in troubleshooting, conduct impact analysis, and escalate appropriately
  • Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions
  • Define technical requirements for assignments of intermediate complexity
  • Participate in analysis, assessment, and resolution of defects and incidents
  • Independently tackle well-scoped problems within team guidelines
  • Expand technical knowledge and capabilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three years of programming/development experience
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, AWS, React, Node.js, GitHub Actions, and MongoDB highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience
  • Strong intermediate delivery skills
  • Domain expertise in immediate systems worked on
  • Proven problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to determine the source of issues in unfamiliar code or systems
  • Ability to recognize and solve repetitive problems
  • Coachability
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work independently and with a group
