About the role

  • Hands-on experience in areas of software engineering supported by a technology and business development curriculum, an assigned co-op manager, and technical mentors.
  • Four-month co-op experience providing first-hand opportunities to apply academic learning in a real-world setting.
  • Work together with fellow interns to develop and present solutions to relevant business and technology topics.
  • Participate in company-wide events such as Intern Symposium and community outreach events and networking with leadership and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Intent of this position is to provide Northeastern University students the ability to apply to 2026 EDP Co-Op opportunities; applications outside this audience will not be considered at this time.
  • Obtained or pursuing a technology or business-related undergraduate degree with technology minor; or a graduate degree with a technology minor.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater preferred.
  • Suggested majors include (but not limited to): Software Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, and Cybersecurity.
  • Exposure to Object-oriented programming (OOP) in one major language.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
  • Skillsets desired (but not limited to): Accountability; Analytical and Critical Thinking; Change Management/Resilience; Customer Focus; Emotional Intelligence; Interpersonal; Judgment/Decision Making; Learning agility; Leveraging Differences; Relationship Management; Teamwork; Technical curiosity; Work Ethic.
