About the role
- Build trust-based relationships with engineering leaders and practitioners across all lines of business.
- Responsible for architecture within one or more segments or domains for a single business unit.
- Advocate for engineering customers while balancing enterprise compliance standards.
- Help define and lead technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions.
- Participate in driving continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt.
- Conduct hands-on prototyping and technology proof of concepts.
- Partner with leadership to ensure proper alignment with technology direction and execution of proof of technologies.
- Define target state architecture and roadmaps.
- Proactively identify opportunities from emerging technology trends to minimize technical debt.
- Support technology modernization initiatives.
- Deliver comprehensive communications about architectural direction.
- Cultivate strong relationships and secure buy-in.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in technology related field or equivalent, with 8 years of architecture experience.
- Currently active in DevSecOps platform architecture with deep hands-on experience.
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWS CDK)
- Deep understanding of artifact management, secrets management, supply chain security.
- Current AWS cloud architecture certification or equivalent depth.
- Software engineering background with ability to evaluate approaches and guide implementation.
- Understanding of agentic solution architectures and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Strong architecture and recent hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies.
- Successfully architected large scale technology initiatives.
