About the role

  • Configure and develop Salesforce Service Cloud and FSC insurance objects and relationships.
  • Set up Omni-Channel configurations, queues, and routing rules for customer service.
  • Create and modify case record types and page layouts for different lines of insurance.
  • Build simple flows for policy inquiries and basic claims intake; implement validation rules and field dependencies.
  • Implement basic automation using Process Builder and Salesforce Connect read-only configurations.
  • Consume platform events in Apex triggers, implement REST callouts, and configure Change Data Capture.
  • Create simple Apex REST endpoints and perform basic bulk API data operations; monitor API usage and limits.
  • Perform analysis, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, and health monitoring for intermediate complexity systems.
  • Participate in incident/defect resolution, impact analysis, and escalate appropriately; seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in work experience.
  • One year of programming/development experience (minimum); three years preferred.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.; company does not sponsor H-1B, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT for this role.
  • Salesforce Service Cloud & FSC insurance knowledge (configure FSC insurance objects, understand Policy/Account/Case relationships).
  • Experience with Omni-Channel, queues and routing rules, case record types and page layouts.
  • Ability to build flows and implement automation using Process Builder.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Connect for read-only external data access.
  • Experience consuming platform events in Apex triggers and implementing REST callouts to external APIs.
  • Understanding of Change Data Capture and basic bulk API operations.
  • REST API fundamentals and ability to create simple Apex REST endpoints.
  • Debugging and problem solving skills; ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and escalate appropriately.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to document work clearly.
  • Intermediate delivery and leadership skills; ability to decompose work and deliver predictably.
