About the role
- Provide Salesforce Service Cloud & FSC Insurance Expertise: configure FSC insurance objects, implement Omni-Channel routing, build case management workflows, and design insurance-specific automated capabilities.
- Provide Integration & Event Management: implement Salesforce Connect, platform event publishing, REST API integrations, and Change Data Capture for downstream synchronization.
- API Engineering: build custom REST APIs, implement GraphQL queries for complex insurance data, and design composite API patterns for mobile applications.
- Provide Technical Leadership: lead complex integrations and Flow Builder solutions, mentor junior developers, direct and implement solutions to moderately complex problems, and lead incident investigation and resolution.
- Act as a technology advocate: identify opportunities to improve the business with technology, participate in design/development, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum three years of programming/development experience (required); five years preferred.
- Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.; company does not sponsor H-1B, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT for this role.
- Salesforce Service Cloud & FSC (Financial Services Cloud) insurance expertise.
- Configure FSC insurance objects with complex relationships; customize only where appropriate.
- Implement Omni-Channel routing strategies including overflow routing and agent availability management.
- Build advanced case management workflows and engineer advanced Flow Builder solutions for operations decision trees.
- Experience with Salesforce Connect, platform events, Change Data Capture, and event-driven integrations.
- Design and build REST API integrations, custom REST APIs, GraphQL queries, and composite API patterns.
- Experience with downstream system synchronization and API engineering for insurance-specific operations.
- Technical leadership: guide junior developers, lead complex integrations, perform advanced design, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Strong delivery, domain expertise in insurance, problem solving, communication and leadership skills.
