About the role

Provide actuarial support for Select CMP within Small Commercial Analytics.
Oversee profitability reporting and lead the annual Plan process and quarterly updates.
Partner with Product Management on portfolio initiatives and Actuarial Product to support Rate Adequacy.
Implement actuarial/statistical techniques including reserving, rate making, pricing, planning/forecasting, project management, and research.
Execute strategic and operational initiatives, drive change, and provide analytical insights and recommendations to leadership and business partners.
Share ownership of the business's financial results and work within broad limits on complex assignments.
May manage a small team: acquisition, retention, development, performance management, and mentoring of staff.
Translate business requests into analytical solutions and communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
Participate in enterprise initiatives and promote process improvements and innovation.

Bachelor's Degree required (College degree in STEM related field preferred).
Associate Actuarial Credential preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis required (7+ years preferred for ideal candidate).
Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.
Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.
Management experience and experience leading teams.
Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Ability to present and translate complex information in relevant business terms.
Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (e.g., SQL, SAS).
Broad business knowledge across underwriting, products, reinsurance, distribution, sales, operations, risk control, claims, and financials.
