Architect and implement scalable data and analytics platforms across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
Lead the design and development of cloud-native data pipelines, storage solutions, and analytics services
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business requirements
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities
Establish best practices for data governance, metadata management, and data quality
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Drive automation and DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment of data services

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
15+ years of experience in data engineering and platform development
Expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with data lake and data warehouse technologies: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks: Apache Airflow, dbt, Informatica
Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, SQL
Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks: Apache Spark, Hadoop
Experience with real-time data streaming: Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation
Strong understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments
Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools: Collibra, Alation
Understanding of API design and microservices architecture
