About the role

  • Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets, track deliveries and returns, and monitor lifecycle status.
  • Raise purchase requests, liaise with suppliers, arrange deliveries, and track order timelines to ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Maintain and update IT process documentation, SOPs, and user guides; generate basic reports on asset age, usage trends, and compliance.
  • Log routine IT tasks and walk-up requests into the ticketing system, follow up on outstanding tickets, and assist with audit preparation by pulling data and verifying logs.
  • Perform other administrative tasks related to IT operations as required to support the team.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensures precision in asset tracking, documentation, and reporting.
  • Professional interaction with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Prioritises tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Handles administrative issues and escalates when necessary.
  • Familiarity with hardware (laptops, peripherals) and software licensing.
  • Understanding of inventory control and lifecycle tracking.
  • Knowledge of purchase requests, supplier coordination, and delivery tracking.
  • Understanding of audit requirements and data accuracy standards.
  • Ability to maintain SOPs and user guides.
  • Proficiency in Excel (for reporting), Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Experience logging and tracking requests would be beneficial.
  • Ability to generate basic reports on asset age, usage trends, and compliance.
