About the role
- Provide technical leadership and strategic advice as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Deliver high performing architectural solutions for the Group Technology Branch in Digital Solutions Architecture
- Support Sydney Trains Cloud Resilience Program and Transport IT sustainability program
- Collaborate with projects and key stakeholders to implement comprehensive architecture plans
- Develop and design business improvement solutions and business bases for new processes
- Be involved in cyber security upgrades
- Consolidate systems, enhance agility, and establish consistent cloud architecture patterns
- Provide high level input and assist with implementation aligned to IT architectural goals and technology roadmap
Requirements
- Previous demonstrated experience as a Senior Solutions Architect
- Experience in Cloud transformation
- Experience in networking
- Experience in security and cyber security upgrades
- Experience in data classification
- Experience in technical design and analysis in complex environments
- Experience in road maps alignment and long-term strategy
- Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills
- Experience presenting at senior leadership forums
- Experience assisting with development of written business cases
- Experience with AWS and Azure (essential)
