About the role
- Lead the financial management team across the division or branches
- Provide strategic financial management advice and financial insight
- Develop strategic expert insights into operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with divisional/branch leaders and their teams
- Ensure greater awareness and transparency of emerging risks, opportunities, and trade offs toward improving financial sustainability
- Establish work plans and strategic priorities
- Be fully accountable for the quality, integrity, and accuracy of expert advice provided
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification (Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline)
- Relevant industry experience
- Full membership of a recognised professional accounting body
- Strong background in financial management and business partnering
- Demonstrated analysis skills
- Strong communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders
- Ability to influence decision-making
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
