About the role
- Lead a team (6) and champion continuous improvement
- Ensure records are managed effectively throughout their lifecycle
- Shape and maintain governance frameworks, policies and guidance
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to embed good recordkeeping practices
- Ensure compliance with State Records Act and align governance with broader digital, data, and organizational priorities
- Drive consistency and uplift capability across Transport
Requirements
- Deep experience in records and information governance
- Strong understanding of standards, regulatory requirements and contemporary information management practices
- Must be capable of translating governance concepts into practical, business‑focused solutions
- Experience in influencing senior stakeholders across a complex organization
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable people leader who builds capability and leads through change
