About the role

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Transport’s AI Governance & Compliance program
  • Operationalise the NSW AI Assessment Framework across projects, procurement and BAU change
  • Embed mandatory assurance gates and coordinate cross-functional reviews spanning Legal, Privacy, Ethics, Cyber Security and Procurement
  • Develop and activate Transport’s AI Policy and Governance Framework
  • Navigate complex regulatory and risk landscapes and build scalable governance processes

Requirements

  • 15+ years in Data and AI transformation, governance, compliance and risk in complex organisations
  • Experience implementing Data and AI governance solutions (e.g. Collibra, IBM Watson, Credo AI, Informatica)
  • Experience with AI risk and compliance frameworks (e.g. NSW AI Assessment Framework, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894)
  • Strong leadership and delivery focus, guiding multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influence at all levels
