About the role
- lead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists
- support Signalling & Control Systems to ensure safety
- oversee the assessment and monitoring of Technical Assurance Organisations (TAOs)
- undertake investigations and performance assessments
- contribute to the development, governance, and continuous improvement of engineering standards
Requirements
- relevant tertiary qualification
- professional engineering registration (or ability to obtain registration)
- rail signalling design experience in both conventional signalling and new and emerging technologies
- demonstrable extensive experience in rail signalling design
- knowledge of train operations and network management principles
- proven ability to apply and advance digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques
