About the role
- Be part of the Asset Program team within Asset Management of the Engineering and Maintenance Directorate within Sydney Trains.
- Provide secretariat, governance, compliance, and business support to ensure strong governance practices and alignment with organisational standards.
- Maintain delegations frameworks and organisational policies.
- Ensure workplace practices comply with Sydney Trains and TfNSW’s governance and compliance requirements.
- Establish decision making framework for approving and escalating decisions.
- Leads program governance, Key decision log, action log, Dependency, Reporting, Risk, Issues, benefit tracking, portfolio & Quality Management.
Requirements
- Proven experience providing confidential corporate governance support in a project environment.
- A comprehensive understanding of secure document and information management requirements.
- Ability to prepare progress reports for all levels of working groups and provide secretariat support for business cases.
- Knowledge of best-practice corporate governance, ideally within a highly regulated environment such as NSW Government.
- Strong coordination skills to manage governance forums involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to produce information packs and progress reports to support governance forums and meetings.
