About the role
- Provide strategic leadership and expert advice towards operational impact
- Drive safety, environment, quality, and risk (SRA) services for one of Australia's largest rail operations
- Partner with executive leadership to shape strategy and ensure compliance
- Lead SRA service delivery for major customer groups: Engineering & Maintenance or Rail Operations & Corporate Services
- Shape SRA strategy development and transformation initiatives
- Lead expert SRA advisory services and specialist resources
- Ensure service delivery meets negotiated timeframes
- Provide assurance through robust reporting, analysis, and evaluation
- Oversee internal and external SRA compliance and performance audits
- Lead and develop an expert service delivery team
- Foster commitment to team achievements and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Executive-level experience managing SRA functions in large, complex operational organizations
- Track record working in highly unionized environments
- Experience with external regulatory accreditations and compliance frameworks
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent senior-level industry experience
- The ability to build high-performing teams that deliver results
