Requirements
What you’ll need- Native-level proficiency in JAPANESE
- Strong command of ENGLISH and SIMPLIFIED CHINESE
- Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization (SIMPLIFIED CHINESE>JAPANESE)
- Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games
- Skilled in CAT tools (preferably in memoQ)
- Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment
- A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)
- 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree
- 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)
- A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
