About the role
- Produce high-quality content through freelance short stories
- Complete 1 short story of approx. 6,500 words
- Submit a brief plot for approval before writing
- Submit the first 1,000 words of the story for review
- Revise based on feedback received
- Adhere strictly to writing independently without AI tools
- Follow guidelines for different assigned genres
Requirements
- Residence in Portugal
- Idiomatic fluency in Portuguese (Portugal)
- Excellent writing skills in Portuguese (Portugal) (grammar, spelling)
- Working proficiency in English required, as all communication and task guidelines will be in English
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in literature, journalism, or creative writing and/or proven experience in journalism, writing, or content creation
- Ability to start and complete tasks within the given deadline
- Strong attention to detail
- Submission of a portfolio with 3 writing samples (400–700 words each), including at least one in the preferred genre; samples may include published articles, blog posts, reports, or other relevant works that demonstrate writing ability and experience.
