About the role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for the demand planning business unit.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Director of Sales, Director of Channel Partnerships, and Executive Director of Professional Services, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer to align sales objectives with Avercast and TransImpact's overall business goals.
  • Drive net new sales through strategic planning, market analysis, and effective sales execution.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding TransImpact’s footprint in the demand planning market through its Avercast software solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Oversee the sales team’s activities, ensuring effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • Set clear performance metrics and regularly evaluate the sales team's performance against targets.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the team’s skills and effectiveness.
  • Manage and expand channel partnerships, ensuring alignment with Avercast’s sales strategy.
  • Develop joint business plans with channel partners to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Monitor partner performance and provide support to maximize sales through the channel network.
  • Ensure seamless integration of professional services into the sales process, enhancing customer value and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation, branding, and market positioning.
  • Partner with Professional Services to ensure smooth client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Client Success to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team to inform business decisions and strategy adjustments.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, and sales management in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of demand planning methodologies, statistical models, and forecasting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the sales and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proficiency in using demand planning software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
