About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development execution for assigned projects from intake through EPC readiness
- Define and execute project development strategies, including risk identification and mitigation
- Advance and secure site control, interconnection agreements, and permitting approvals
- Integrate technical solutions into executable development plans
- Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Drive go/no-go recommendations
- Prepare projects for EPC handoff and maintain continuity through COD
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-12 years of experience in BESS, renewables, or data center development
- Experience developing BTM energy systems, microgrids, or DER-integrated projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of interconnection processes, permitting, and site control
- Familiarity with data center or large-load development preferred
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external consultants
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and risk frameworks.
