About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support all aspects of the General Ledger, preparation and reporting of financial statements.
Provides analysis and reconciliation of complex financial data.
Reviews current accounting, internal control and departmental procedures.
Identifies trends or anomalies in accounting system transactions.
Prepares reports of findings and acts as internal consultant for accounting issues.
Provides assistance on compliance related activities, month-end close and general payroll functions.
Monitor and analyze department work for resource efficiency.
Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age.

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred.
At least 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience
Working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
Multi-state tax accounting experience.
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (including audit preparation, budgeting, reporting).
3 or more years as a public accountant strongly preferred.
CPA strongly preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare preferred.
Workday experience a plus.
