About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ultimately, the role is to generate leads, manage existing enquiries, convert them and build up/manage a portfolio of clients
Responsible for school visits, direct reach outs to schools, conference attendance and identifying ways to increase our client base in your sales region
Work with clients to match their needs, build enriching, well-designed and inspiring tour itineraries/programs for young people
Effective price setting on the tours, to maximise margins and profitability for the business
Ensuring every stage of our client journey is superb and all touch points with clients are clear
Working closely with the TLA Sport operations team on trips to ensure they have all the right information pre-trip
Deliver presentations in person or online to customers/schools, as well as at parents’ evenings
Build long term relationships with clients and maximise on all sales opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2 years' experience in travel sales or B2B sales, ideally sports tours sales
Proven track record of strong sales experience and a high level of customer service feedback
Ideally a knowledge of key sports such as football, rugby, hockey, netball etc.
Ability to forge new relationships and recognise opportunities to generate leads
A passion for travel!
