About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help shape DevOps Automation and AI journey
Own GitLab foundation including standards around repo creation, pipelines, and deployment
Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
Standardize and coordinate unit, integration, and security testing
Plan, coordinate, publicize, and monitor application releases and updates
Maintain health and stability of automation and orchestration applications, plugins, pipelines, and functions
Define and document environment and infrastructure requirements for cloud, virtualized, and physical deployments
Define and document patterns and policies for safe use and deployment of AI-assisted automation including infrastructure, architecture, and deployment standards
Work with Security and Risk teams to continuously assess security posture
Interact with internal teams for requirements gathering and deployment coordination

Requirements

What you’ll need

10-15 years in IT
Experience mapping, building, implementing, and maintaining platform management plans
Great communication skills
Passion for network automation
Experience with SDLC and CI/CD pipelines
Release management and best practices
Software development and engineering
Network and software automation
Monitoring platforms (Netreo a plus)
Python
AWS
Ansible / Terraform
Jinja / Django
Docker and containerization
Nautobot / NetBox or other network management tool
Network engineering
Experience in international environments
BA/BS in Computer Science or IT related field (or equivalent experience)
DevOps certified (AWS or Azure)
