About the role
- 2nd/3rd line network support role in the payments industry.
- Support resolution of escalated service incident tickets.
- Support major incident management.
- Incident root cause analysis.
- Problem management resolution.
- Network maintenance.
- Providing on-call support (rota based) and occasional out of hours work.
- Support for disaster recovery activities.
- Provide training, knowledge transfer and ongoing support to TNS Global Service Support Centre technicians.
- Support evolution of documentation and processes.
Requirements
- 4-5 years’ experience in a mission critical network operations environment, ideally within the payments or financial market services arena.
- Proven knowledge and experience of TCP/IP.
- Knowledge and experience in BGP, NAT, HSRP, IPsec VPN, MPLS, ISIS, IP Load balancing.
- Extensive hands-on experience with the configuration of Cisco, and Juniper routers & switches.
- Proven ability to effectively project-manage their work.
