Conduct client and user discovery to uncover unmet needs, pain points, and opportunities across the payments journey.
Design and optimize intuitive, transparent, and frictionless payment experiences for students and families—balancing institutional needs with consumer expectations shaped by leading digital payment products.
Identify opportunities to embed AI in both product capabilities (e.g., intelligent automation, predictive insights, personalization) and product operations (e.g., backlog management, data-driven decisioning).
Understand and design how front-stage experiences (student and parent interactions) connect to back-stage systems and processes (business office workflows, reconciliation, financial aid).
Develop product roadmaps grounded in clear strategic priorities, informed by data, research, and client feedback.
Drive product delivery through clear requirements, close collaboration with design and engineering, and active management of scope, quality, and timelines.
Establish an iterative approach to validate assumptions, measure success, and adapt based on what you learn.
Partner with marketing, sales, client success, and operations teams to ensure strong product-market fit, adoption, and client satisfaction.
Continuously gather feedback from clients and end users to refine experiences and deliver meaningful, measurable value.
Requirements
4–7 years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS, fintech, edtech, or a related industry.
A strong foundation in human-centered design and a proven ability to turn insights into solutions that drive user and business value.
Experience leading iterative, test-and-learn product development processes, including experimentation, MVPs, and incremental releases.
Demonstrated success executing against a defined product strategy or roadmap—balancing long-term vision with short-term delivery.
Comfort working with and around AI/ML technologies, with an understanding of how AI can enhance user experiences and product management practices.
Experience with service design tools and methods—journey mapping, ecosystem mapping, and aligning front-stage experiences with back-stage processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you translate complexity into clarity for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
