About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Function as a Services Team Customer Leader for assigned Key Account(s)
- Administer, implement, and manage service fulfillment processes for operational excellence
- Manage service offering performance for Key Account customers in North America
- Establish and achieve account and business objectives
- Ensure quality standards for service operation processes and work execution
- Achieve mission objectives involving profit and resource management, including backlog analysis, WIP, and overhead management
- Lead transition and rollout meetings with customers and Trane teams
- Monitor, measure, and modify processes and measurements to meet customer and business objectives
- Ensure customer reporting is accurate and timely
- Work with Trane field offices and third-party providers to obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and deliver business results
- Maintain vendor approval and compliance
- Liaise among customers, business units/corporate, and service teams to resolve issues
- Coordinate with sales on project handoffs
- Conduct service-account performance appraisals and recommend improvements or service growth opportunities
- Investigate customer concerns, implement corrective action, and communicate resolutions
- Oversee investigations for assigned customers
- Review project measurements and monitor projects through completion
- Collaborate across business streams and business units
- Travel up to 10%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or applicable field; or a minimum of seven (7) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature equipment preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, customers, and service personnel
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to communicate results both internally and externally
- Demonstrated knowledge of lean methodology and its application preferred but not required
- Up to 10% travel
